We are truly sorry if you have experienced the loss of your own baby and please be assured that you are not alone in your grief.
There are a range of charities, services and support that some families may find useful. We understand that each family is unique and what works for one family may not work for another.
We cannot work alone and by collaborating with others we feel we can provide an improved service to enable more families (and their friends) to access important resources and be able to be signposted effectively.
Below are a range of businesses, charities and services that we work with and we feel uphold the same high standards as ourselves.
Our memory book is a professionally printed book filled with photographs from parents and families of their babies. It is used to educate health professionals and students at our training days and within hospitals of how to appropriately take photographs of babies who have died. It is also a useful resource for families in the same position to be used in hospitals to enable them to prepare for what their baby may look like or to assist them when create their own memories.
If you wish to have your baby included in the next version of our memory book, please contact us via email.
If you wish to donate a book(s) to a gyne, maternity or neonatal unit, please see our Shop.
Conferences & Study Days
Bereaved parents are often faced with aspects of their care that they wish were better and could have been improved. Many of these aspects could have been changed if they had received better education.
We can run bespoke online baby loss sessions and face to face study days working with your local hospital or university. Parents and families sometimes wish to fundraise to sponsor a session in their baby's name and improve education for students and health professionals in their area to improve care for others.
If you'd like to sponsor online session or study day you can fundraise or make a direct donation - we will ask how you'd like this money to be used.
We like to be creative when it comes to fundraising - we appreciate every fundraising event!
Every penny makes a considerable difference to our work.
We have numerous ways you can volunteer from remote volunteering to being based in our office.
I fully believe this day should be mandatory as part of our curriculum.
Thank you for letting me tell Mollie’s story. This is how I get to be a parent.
Everything was discussed so sensitively and with so much insight. Today has been invaluable and I will carry it with me throughout my career.
I have learnt more today about the impact of baby loss than in my 25 year career as a midwife.
Thought provoking and very much needed in this trust - and ALL trusts.
You have given me the courage I needed when caring for bereaved families.
Imagine how we would improve as a profession if every health profession undertook this course.
